Hi Prajyot,

earlier comments already suggested this is not a particularly good idea.

Just want to make it really clear: you CAN'T delete old PA, PSA, EG, ESG, if you already have payroll results. Even, if you change them in master data back to day one and do a retro calculation, you'll still have them in previous versions of your payroll results, thus creating an inconsistency leading even to dumps in some cases, if they are deleted from config.

An easy way, would be to just change them in master data using an org change action (probably via LSWM) from today onwards and leave the past untouched.

You'd still need to do the following in config:

- COPY the new objects from the old ones with the copying tool in the IMG, not just in one table

- check all relevant features

- check, whether they are addressed directly in any schema (use report RPDASC00 to expand the schema incl. rules and search in the result)

- check variants

- check authorisations

- check custom programs, enhancements, BAdIs

- check data of orgunits, positions and jobs, if you assign these structural elements there

- interfaces with 3rd party systems

If you really want to eradicate the old structures from the past, you'd need programs to not only change the master data, but also the payroll results and time results, possibly also other data like benefits. Not a mean feat.

AND: document this migration, so you can explain the changes to auditors.

kind regards

Sven
